Hi, My name is Jeff, a freelance writer specialized in DIY, lifehacking and home improvement topics, with a focus on environmentally friendly, money saving solutions. I also enjoy taking vintage items and turning them into something new. I'm reaching out because I'd love to be featured on Kemaily. I found a post on your site in which you're calling guest bloggers to submit articles, and I'm wondering - is the offer still good? I'm in the process of building a strong portfolio, and getting published by you would be great. I've come up with a few ideas for articles that I am sure would be useful to your readers and would be a great fit for your website: 1) Repurpose Your Rooms: Redesign and Renovate - How to repurpose your rooms. Advice on how to turn parts of your basement or attic into a home office, playroom for the kids or a family entertainment center. Unify your kitchen, dining area and living room into one big multi-purpose space. Redesign windows and bring more natural light into your home, save energy. Do it yourself and get to know your home better. 2) Small Tasks, Big Results: Renovation and Maintenance Tips and Tricks That Will Increase Your Home's Value - DIY tips and tricks about small repairs and regular maintenance tasks that will increase your home's value. How to declutter, clean up, fix cracks and air leaks, get rid of pests and make your home nice and shiny. A little effort goes a long way. 3) Vintage, but New: Give Your Old Furniture a Fresh New Look - More and more, people are opting for restoring old furniture instead of buying new items. This can be a creative way of saving money and getting to know your own home better. Learn how a fresh wood finish can turn old furniture into something unique, how to re-purpose simple items such as aged crates and boxes, and how to renew upholstery. Do any of these sound good to you? These are suggested titles, we can mix these up a bit or I can come up with something different. Here are some examples of my work: How to Plan a Monthly Home Maintenance Checklist http://www.kravelv.com/plan-monthly-home-maintenance-checklist/ Stay Safe + DIY: How to Prevent Water, Fire and Electrical Damage in Your Home http://www.movers.com/blog/post/preventing-fire-water-electrical-damage.html Clean Your Home and Office Without Spending Too Much http://tygabox.com/clean-home-office-top-bottom-keep-clean-without-spending-much/ I'd love to get back to you with a full article for review (no strings attached!). Have a great day! Cheers, Jeff Short bio: Jeff E. Brown is a freelance writer and a self-taught handyman with a knack for lifehacking and DIY projects.
